I am an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at McGill University. My research and teaching focus on understanding how artistic production is used as a tool for political representation, education and mobilization. I teach courses on the relationship between art and politics, social movements, and ethnographic and interpretive theories and methods. I strive to connect political science with other fields of inquiry such as cultural anthropology, sociology and the arts, in order to broaden the scope of political research and create more widely readable and accessible work. I also write creative non-fiction and collaborate with artists on projects and publications.
